ABOUT THE PROJECT
Centro Punta de Couso was created by Jacomina Kistemaker as a place to meet with oneself and with nature. The combination of its architecture and the natural environment of the Atlantic coast make this centre an inspiring place with a special magic. In the centre Jacomina gives sound and personal growth workshops as well as concerts and meditations.
Over the years, the beauty of Punta de Couso made it the ideal location to produce other audiovisual works for different therapists, artists and teachers. The first collaboration with Jacomina was the audiovisual production and design of a DVD about her work with Tibetan bowls. As a result of this project, new proposals emerged and for three years I lived in the Centre, collaborating on a photographic, design and audiovisual level with Jacomina’s different events and projects.
When sound meets image
I have been working with Jacomina for ten years now, getting to know her artistic proposal in greater depth and appreciating her sensitivity to voice and sound. I have produced, among other things, the design of musical and pedagogical DVDs & CDs, promotional videos for her voice workshops and her work with Tibetan Singing Bowls; video clips of her as a soloist and in collaboration with other artists, as well as photographic sessions of her Centro Punta de Couso.
